Huwelijk start

Voor het eerst gepreekt op een huwelijk.
Eerst toegezegd, toen spijt van gehad (ben zelf ongehuwd), toen aan Jezus gedacht: die zei ook van alles over dingen die hij zelf niet deed.
Wel natuurlijk in Zeeland. Ik ben een Katwijker. Beetje bottem oud-Hollands dus, met een zeeluchtje. Voel me dus wel thuis op de Wadden, Friesland en Zeeland. Lijkt wel of de tijd daar een beetje stil heeft gestaan en Nederland nog gewoon Nederland is, echt oer-Nederlands.
Over huwelijk gesproken, dit vind ik een mooie:

I remember Kay's father sat us down the night before we were married and said, "There are five areas where marriages usually have conflict: money, sex, in-laws, children, and communication."
He proved to be prophetic: Kay and I went five for five!
